Pursuant to Section 8 of the Austrian Tobacco and Non-Smokers Protection Act (TNRSG), manufacturers and importers of tobacco and related products are required to submit to the competent authorities a list of their products, together with all ingredients used in their manufacture, emission levels and further information on the products.

Pursuant to Section 8(7), point 2, TNRSG, the Federal Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection (BMASGPK) is required to publish these data while protecting any trade secrets contained therein.

These data are published on this website on behalf of the BMASGPK.

The data are cross-checked against the data in EU-CEG and updated monthly, in the middle of each month.
 

Please note:

• Publication on this website does NOT confirm the legal compliance or completeness of a notification, or that the notified products may lawfully be placed on the market. The authorities carry out spot checks to verify whether products may lawfully be placed on the market.

  Novel tobacco products may not be placed on the market until at least six months after notification.
