Pursuant to Section 8 TNRSG, manufacturers and importers of tobacco and related products are obliged to provide the competent authorities with a list of their products and all ingredients used in their manufacture. The information available to the authorities is published subject to the protection of any business secrets.

The data is compared and updated monthly (in the middle) with the data from the EU CEG.

Please note:

• Publication on this website does NOT confirm the legality/completeness of the notification or the marketability of the notified products. Marketability is checked by the authorities on a random basis.
• Electronic cigarettes and liquids may be placed on the market at the earliest six months after notification.
• The placing on the market of tobacco for oral use is prohibited in Austria. These products are therefore not included in this list.
• Novel tobacco products may only be placed on the market after authorisation by the BMASGPK. Therefore, only authorised novel products appear here.
